My New Boat

“See I’ve got myself a boat. Now I can become the pirate I’ve always wanted to be.” I told her.

She walked on deck looking unimpressed. She shook her head.

“What is this obsession with pirates you have? It’s just sad in someone your age.” She told me.

“I like pirates. You better be careful what you say or I’ll make you walk the plank and you’ll go down to Davy Jones Locker. Arghh!” She sighed loudly.

“I love you, but you make it so difficult sometimes. You just need to let go of all these silly obsessions you have and come and join us in the real world one day!” She exclaimed.

She walked out leaving me alone. One day I would be the most fantabulous pirate and she will wish she had joined my crew when she had the chance. She’ll be sorry.
