Holiday

For the first time in ages Jess and Cindy took a break from their farm to spend a few days by the seaside. Since they lived far from the coast the sea was a novelty for them both.

The first morning Cindy slept in and woke up to find she was alone in the hotel room. She found some breakfast waiting for her on a tray. Jess had obviously ordered room service. There was a also a note:

You looked so peaceful sleeping I didn’t want to wake you. Have some breakfast and join me on the beach. Look for the umbrella and bring some swimwear! Love Jess xx

After getting ready Cindy crossed the road to the beach and looked down to see one solitary beach umbrella. She went down the steps and there was Jess waiting for her.

“You took your time sleepyhead!” Jess said smiling at her.
