Evening Talk
They sat out on the porch taking in the evening air.
“I reckon that sunset was ineffable.” Susie remarked gazing into the darkening sky. Carla looked at her puzzled.
“How could a sunset be ineffable?” Carla asked.
“Ineffable means something too great or extreme to be expressed or described in words.” replied Susie as though she was repeating something she had seen.
“You’ve been reading that dictionary again, haven’t ya?”

Ineffable sunsets… yep, I agree with Susie, I’ve seen a few of those!

A very sweet story. I’m impressed you could belt out a definition and still keep a coherent plot! That’s an accomplishment, there!
