Stuck Inside

Cindy looked out the kitchen window. She was planning to do some work around the farm, but now there was a downpour. Jess was in a shed trying to fix the tractor. Cindy imagined she would have engine grease all over her hands, arms, and clothes by now. Jess always insisted on fixing the tractor herself, instead of leaving it to professionals, which Cindy found exasperating.

Since she was staying inside, Cindy did some baking. She knew Jess would enjoy all the chocolate chip cookies she was making.
