Renovating
“So why are we here?” Cindy asked looking at the dilapidated building in front of them.
“You know how we renovated our homestead? Our neighbours were impressed by our work and hoped we could do the same for this building.” Jess replied.
“But we’re farmers, not renovators. How would we find the time to work on this while we have a farm to run?” Cindy wondered.
“We could work on it in moments we have spare time. We don’t have to do it all at once. And the money we earn from it could go to our holiday fund.” Cindy spun around.
“Holiday fund? We have one of those?”
“We will after we’ve finished this. We never got to have a honeymoon and we could use the money to go somewhere really nice.” Jess told her. Cindy turned to look at the building again. She could see possibilities with it.

I do hope they got to somewhere nice. A leisure cruiser on the Norfolk Broads might suit.

That does sound good.

While I’ve enjoyed the quiet while alongside the estuary, I do feel for the many, many large and small scale boat operators across our many Broads.

Though Jess is quite a butch farm girl, I’m not sure she deserves a male pronoun…

I wasn’t sure as there was never a he/she associated when Jess spoke… And it is a name that could go either way…😉

Hmm, now where do they want to go? Sydney, Tokyo, Pyongyang, Taiwan? The choices are endless!
