The Horses

“Who are you? And why are on our paddock?” the horse asked looking straight at me.

“Er, I was just having a closer look at you. You all looked so beautiful. I thought I would pat you.” I replied, surprised the horse had spoken to me. The horse raised it’s head in the air.

“Yes I am beautiful, but that doesn’t mean you can wander over and touch me whenever you like. Did you bring anything, like some sugar or an apple?”

“Sorry,” I replied.

“Well you’re not getting a ride!”

“What are you doing with my horses?” shouted a voice behind me. A man was heading towards me.

“I was just talking with them.”

“Talking? Are you daft girl? Get away from my horses and off my land!” the man shouted. I departed wishing I had bought some apples, rather than spending all the money I had on acid.
