All That’s On Offer

Anna walked up to the fence post, sure enough there was a piece of pink twine tied around it meaning Tanya’s husband was away, it was safe for her to come. Anna walked down the long driveway. Soon she would be in Tanya’s arms. They would spend the afternoon lovemaking until she would have to leave, before Tanya’s husband returned.

She had tried to convince Tanya to leave her husband, to run away with her. All she got were vague promises that one day she would. Though it was Anna she loved, Tanya couldn’t bear the thought of other people knowing she was gay, so instead she stayed with her husband to keep her family and friends happy.

Anna didn’t like being Tanya’s bit on the side. She felt she deserved better, but for the moment it was the only thing on offer. She knocked on the door and waited.

  1. ‘Tis a sad state of affairs…
Maybe one day she will chose honesty for herself, her husband and her lover. Pick a side and live with it…
    Well done, Joanne
