The Windfarm
Ashley and Jenny were on holiday by the sea. They had rented out a small cottage near the beach and this morning they had decided to walk along the sand in the hot sun watching the waves rolling in. As they walked on, they noticed a small group of people they knew to be locals staring out to sea at the windfarm. Jenny decided to join them.
“That’s an amazing looking windfarm!” She commented to the old man beside her.
“Well it certainly looks like one.” He replied still staring out at it. She wondered if he was being sarcastic. Trying not to take offence, she questioned him.
“What do you mean it looks like one?” She asked him. He turned to her, and at once she could see fear in his eyes.
“It wasn’t there yesterday!”

If we get enough of them, we can fly the Earth a little further out and cool things off…

Maybe there was too much fog and he couldn’t see it yesterday? Maybe they were erected to keep out our Eldritch Horror of a wind-turbine-hating president?
