Destroyed
Mekanot the Merciless returned to his hall to find it in ruins. In times past he had bent all other pixies, sprites, and fairies to his iron will. He was the Dark Lord of the forest and surrounding environs. His might was unassailable, or so he had thought.
There had been rebellion. All the free pixies and their allies had led a revolt against him. They had besieged his home and cast him out. He was defeated and then exiled.
Now years later, he returned unnamed and forgotten to his seat of power to find it broken and his dreams of a return to his past glories destroyed.

You never know what’s going on in the bottom of the garden… I thought the idea of a pixie dark lord was amusing.

Sad, the former glory trampled and gone. Still, it happens to everything, the legacy of time 🌞🧡😊
