The World Outside

The group walked out of the Order and gazed at the world for the first time. Now all they had to do was walk through the short tunnel and they would properly be in the Outside.

“This is an awesome prospect.” Said the Keeper of the Small Moisturiser Pots

”Yes, I wonder what is out there.” Added the Hoarder of the Broken Lightbulbs

“Do you think anyone is left out there?” Wondered the Collector of the Empty Juice Bottles

Do you think we should give ourselves new names maybe?” asked the Sorter of the Rusty Mouse Traps.

“Don’t be ridiculous. We should bear our names with pride, whatever is still out there.” Answered the Procurer of Odd Sized Boxes.

The group moved slowly forwards and away from the home they had known all their lives. A couple of them began to wonder if maybe they hadn’t really been needed there…
