I had plans to do my 2020 review, but I’m not in any state to do that right now. Maybe tomorrow…

The “verse” block works somewhat. It puts it in weird font and that stupid box, though.

What I do is put each stanza in a paragraph block, using cmd + enter (ctrl + enter on windows) to separate the lines within a stanza. I think that’s the trick most people are missing. It’s not obvious.
Then once each stanza is within its own paragraph block, wordpress will space the stanzas apart like paragraphs.

have you tried using the / spacer block to separate stanzas or story sections? I make pretty heavy use of it to offset the block editior’s blockhead formatting. put the first stanza in one block , use a spacer then put the next in a new block, etc…

I have tried that, but I think I’m doing it wrong. I should try again I guess…

The only trick to it is dragging the bottom of the box to size the spacer. đ
