Factions (poem)

Factions

I wanted to be

on your side

but you were

never on mine,

so these days

the only side

I’m on is my

own, I don’t

want to care

about you anymore

I just want

happiness

on my own

  1. A soap ad for ladies says and I quote “If we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?”
We need to learn to be on our own side, to approve of ourselves as individuals.
Thank you for sharing this insightful poem.😊
