Goodnight (poem)

Goodnight

I was lost in the dark
her arms around me
cold breath on my neck

she kissed me on the lips
her sombre eyes staring
into mine.

"Goodnight" she said
as though a farewell,
then she proceeded

to rip my throat apart
with her sharp fangs
