Disturbance
“Hey watcha doing?” he asks trying to be nonchalant as he sidles up to me. I keep reading doing my best to ignore him.
“I’m reading a short story by Tolkien, called Leaf by Niggle.”
“Any good?”
“It’s one of his few allegorical ones, but yeah I like it.” I reply.
“So, you wanna get a drink or something?”
“No, I want to finish this story.”
