The Photograph

Bill sat in his hideout with his camera ready, hoping to get the definitive picture of Bigfoot he had been longing for. Earlier, he had put the shack together and covered it with foliage to help it blend in with the forest. This particular spot had been chosen since there had been many sightings here. So he sat and waited for Bigfoot to wander into his viewfinder…

While he waited, the Loch Ness Monster (presumably on holiday) slithered past, a flying saucer landed right in front of him and some green-skinned bug-eyed aliens got out and presumably fixed their craft then flew off again, a chupacabra sauntered through, and then a Mothman fluttered by, but there was no sign of Bigfoot.

“Drat! What a wasted weekend!” Bill declared as he packed up his things and left for home, oblivious of the eight foot-tall hairy figure hiding behind his shack…

This was my other idea for the photo prompt… It’s rather silly, but maybe that’s what’s needed right now.

I’ve always had an interest in cryptozoology. I don’t believe in any of it, but I find it interesting. Due to this, I often read publications such as The Fortean Times as it’s often full of weird crap…
