Until the End

Isabella stayed with Hazel as she began to expire. She had seen this so many times now: the final moments of someone’s life. Isabella always stayed with them to the end as they breathed their last breath.

Afterwards, Isabella stood up. Time to go home and rest. It would take a few days for her body to digest all the blood she had consumed this night.
